The DAIXIN Team ransomware group has claimed responsibility for a malicious , a renowned name in the hospitality industry.

According to a message posted on the dark web, the ransomware group has not only infiltrated the hotel chain's systems but also allegedly exfiltrated sensitive data, including records of all visitors dating back to 2017. Moreover, they have issued a warning of impending data leaks.

The Cyber Express first reported about a cyberattack on Omni Hotels & Resorts earlier in April, when the luxury hotel chain found itself ensnared in a nationwide IT debacle following a confirmed attack.

Since March 29th, the luxury hotel chain has been contending with the fallout of the , which resulted in a widespread IT outage across its properties.
